How Are FastBracesⓇ Different Than Traditional Orthodontics?

How Are FastBracesⓇ Different Than Traditional Orthodontics?

For a long time, traditional metal braces were the only choice that patients needing orthodontic treatment could access. Though they did the job, patients were left with prices to pay, including limitations on what they ate, frequent office visits for tightening and unexpected repairs, and having a “metal mouth” for a lengthy period of time.

Fortunately, now there are innovative alternative orthodontic treatments that patients can choose, one of which shortens your treatment time considerably — and who wouldn’t want that?

The expert and caring team at Expressions in Dentistry offer innovative accelerated orthodontics as a treatment option, allowing patients all the benefits — and fabulous results — of traditional orthodontics but in far less time. Our patients give the treatment we offer, known as FastBraces, rave reviews.

What is accelerated orthodontics?

First, let’s review some of the issues that all orthodontic treatments address:

When you go the traditional braces route, you can expect to be in treatment anywhere from one to three years, depending on the adjustments you specifically need.

Accelerated orthodontics miraculously shaves off treatment time, so you can revel in your new smile sooner!

The best choice for accelerated orthodontic treatment

The dentists at Expressions in Dentistry have adopted the patented FastBraces accelerated orthodontic treatment platform because they believe it’s far and away the best option out there — and they want only the best for their patients.

Fastbraces do what traditional braces do in terms of shifting teeth into correct positions, but the process is significantly simplified. Rather than wearing extensive brackets, wires, and rubber bands, this system uses triangular brackets that are connected to each other with metal wire. This design means that both the crowns of the teeth and their roots are moving simultaneously. With traditional braces, the crowns move first and then the roots.

Patients can choose either metal or clear braces, and the FastBraces wires are made of light and bendable nickel and titanium. The treatment initiates root movement in your mouth right away, and typically, treatment time is slashed so that many patients are done in under a year!

Additional benefits of FastBraces include:

FastBraces gets you to your orthodontic goals faster, but with just as much success as traditional braces, so it’s a no-brainer. Why not be done with treatment in half the time or less?
